Good luck man, it took me forever to find the R version. They're out there you've just got to be persistant.

Looks like the secret's out.
PDP R is definitely toward the top of the "really hard MVS games to find" list. Nobody cares enough about it to have noticed, I guess.

I have Puzzle de Pon. What is different about Puzzle de pon R? I did a search but it brings up everything that includes Puzzle de Pon.

Noplace and nobody has it right now - took me months to find mine. It might be a while, but one will turn up eventually.

Earlier in the year, someone was selling new kits of it and I passed. Regret sucks.

I noticed that there is also another version of this game called Puzzle De Pon R (made in 1997), This seems to be the same but with different levels and an extra bomb power up that destroys all bubbles close to it. Impressive! (NOT! :-)

It's my understanding that the only difference is the bomb powerup. I *think* even the levels are exactly the same. Certainly not enough to justify a "sequel" 2 years after the first game.

PDP R is the only one of the two I have at the moment, but this is what I've been told.

Yeah, I have only tried the ROM and from the looks of things its pretty much the same. From what I understand, its only a 2 chip (P1 & S1?) swap from PdP to PdPR.

I think we've all been down this road for the "R". This cart is tough to find, and beware there are boots out there, just not many. Good luck finding it and if I come across an extra one I'll let you know too. ;)
