yeah i'll second that ^
WonderWoman may not be the best looking, have the best costume or be the most interesting character in the world but as far as story goes she just is the strongest (in pure strength sence of the word)
i mean i guess WW could lift the most but i'm sure a more skilled warrior could take her down

That title would go to someone like Shermie or maybe Angel...

Also, be careful; some of you are confusing physical strength with overall power or fighting ability.
Athena is quite powerful, she has a lot of psychic power and all, but in that field she's dwarfed by Chizuru/Maki Kagura. If Shion was a actually a woman (instead of yet another Falcoon abomination), she would take the lead in that statistic.
IMHO, Yuri Sakazaki is perhaps the best female fighter overall in KOF. But more so because she's quite balanced, being strong, quick, skilled and powerful enough to stand above the rest.
