I just got a Mr. Do! MVS cart on eBay and want to verify if it's original...

Thanks for all of the offers to host, squidget has offered to host them, so pics should be up shortly. Chris1, I look forward to hearing your opinion, as I bought this from ju707, so you may have seen this cart before :smirk:

Black case. Yup, remade English label - white with black print...sound familiar?

Sounds like the one I sent back..though he's sold many more..... probably sold 10-20 afterwards looking like that.

I just never see him get a Negatives for them...To my freaken surprise. :eek:
I guess after he offeres a refund and doesn't leave feedback it's sort or back-up plan to neg back.

Well,we know we have a boot here...
I bet it's mostly EPROMS with no so bad soldering.

I'm curious to know if it works..If it'll reset while playing..like the both he sent me did.

I have to say I didn't like the way this boot resets all of a sudden..it made my cab reset to a garbled screen..
The screen you get upon start-up.

I don't like having the cab reset like that...
So I won't blame you for not trying the cart due to this.

But,I figure you have a boot and it's a non working properly boot.

I have to take apart the boot I have and take scans/now..

Bones,let me know if you do try this cart..but beware of the sudden reset.

I'm so curious to know if it was the only two he sent me that did that..

I can't understand how he gets away with these..Do any of them work.
Where does he get them all..?

I think I bought that Mr Do boot off of him like 2 yrs ago.

Oh..and Julius may play stupid on this stating,not knowing it's a boot,but he knows.. :smirk:

Drats, I was afraid of that. I played the game for a few minutes and didn't have any problems with it rebooting. Chris1, how often did your boot Mr. Do! reboot? Did anything trigger it or was it random?

I'll put the cart back together later tonite and play-test it a bit more.
But first gotta watch the rest of Survivor!

Just randomly...(both did the same thing)

You'll be playing and all of the sudden.. Reset.. :blow_top:

Then I'll try again and it'll either reset quicker or later..

I did play and finish the game once with that boot having it not reset.

I think my wife was the even more pissed..
After that non resetting time I stopped playing but left the cab running(Rig Red) and she started to play and it reset/flashed in her face.((One reason I was so on the hunt afterward to get the real thing))

She tried again and didn't get far without it resetting...then she gave up..
It'll work fine through the demo's though..and the save to memory card worked..

When I got the new/real one it had my high score or whatever it saved in my memory card that I saved from playing the boot copy..

I always wondered why the two of them Reset and the Spinmaster boot he sent me..

Spinmaster :.I still have that Julius boot and I have an original..not from him though..

What the hell causes them to reset..?

Interestingly enough, it seems to play ok, no reboots graphics/sound glitches that I can tell, at least so far. Just played it all the way through with no problems. Hmm...
