The first Half Life is still one of the best FPS ever made. I loved the story. I think the story was the best part... well, of the single player game. It was obviously given a ton of great mods, too.
But anyhow, story was the best thing for the game when it came out. I hope the story on this is just as good. I'm sorry to say that I sucked way too much to complete the first HL. I beat the first expansion pack, which was cool. How did it end? Doesn't Gordon stay in the other dimension forever? How is he back? I don't get it. Little help?

Gordon is hired at the end by that businessman dude (the one in the suit) for his great efforts and skill. And that's about it. There is a mod that takes place afterwards, where you have to do a job assigned to you by the company that business guy works for. But I thought that one sucked.Spike Spiegel said:

I'm more angry with the publications and websites that devote all their attention to something that isn't really that close to being out yet, while they could be providing us with in-depth reviews of what's already here. And extra tips and strats would be nice as well. I just think their energy could be better utilized elsewhere.

I think it's just a side effect of this being a relatively slow time of year as far as VG news. Most of the release dates are set in stone, no trade shows on the immediate horizon...gotta dig up the drama somewhere.
I want to try this game for the awesome physics engine...I already got my lethal dose of atmosphere with Doom 3.
