Getting the hood open on my beater

I got a notice that I have to take it in for the emission test but the hood does not open. It broke and I was like meh since I never drive it . I don't even know why I bought it but I did so now I have to get the hood open. The release is just a screw and won't do anything . I took the grill off and can get my hand on the latch but the fucker won't move . Any ideas? I may just junt the fucking thing .

search for the wire that opens the hood behind the pedal and push it using a grip plier.

Cool dogs btw.

How do you fit in that car? Can you get your fingers around that hood release latch?

For that matter how do you play your Neo without constantly hitting multiple buttons at once?

i want to pinch that fucking dog cheeks til they turn pink. then i want to rub my eyes with his eyes so hopefully mine grow like that. :crying:

stand on the windshield and smash the hook part of the crowbar into the hood near the front. pull until hook breaks off or until the speed hole gets too big. if its too big make another one and pull harder. after it is off make more speed holes to balance it out so it doesnt look stupid.

Find a shady looking emissions testing place in a shitty part of town. Offer the guy $50 to say you passed.

anyhoo I'm covered in grease , you would have thought I took the car apart . I took the right headlight off and its comming loose but it got dark so I'll try again another day. I have till december to get the smog test before they suspend my licence .

PS. panchos sac is normal for a large dog . My friends boxer puts him to shame . I think since people are used to looking at nuetered dogs when one is complete they think its huge .

if the hood doesn't open than it's not worth keeping and doing emissions to anyway. if after trying this alot you still can't get the damn thing to open I'd just say donate it to some kinda charity.

If you can't open the hood you can't change the oil. And eventually it'll die. I'm not even gonna say to give it to me. Maybe you should give it to one of the less fortunate members...

But seriously that is an issue because of the oil if nothing else. and you shouldn't take the test if you can't open it because it would be a waste of money

The battery died long long ago. I would hate to get rid of it since it only has 80K and ran like a champ before the hood release broke . After that I just let it sit there . Now I will get it open if its the last thing I do .
