The enegy gauge when becoming MAX has something to do with the continurous time. If the enegy bar is less than the divisions at 3, the time becomes longer. If the enegy bar is less than one forth, the time becomes more longer. Air Block When the caracter jumps upward pr backward, he can use aid block. Only jumping attack or projectile can be blocked. Avoiding Throw Non special move's throw can be avoided by AB or downward + a Button. Counter The caracter win 'counter' and the damage gains slightly when he hits the opponent who begins special movw. When the caracter win 'counter' by knockdown attack (Kockdown Blow or Special Move which let the opponent kockdown), he can purse the opponent in air. While the opponent in MAXIMUM, the caracter win 'counter' more easily. He can also win it by hitting the opponent who begins normal attack or is in dush motion. Guard Crash If the caracter guards the opponent's attack manytimes for specific time, he is crashed guard and left defenseless for a moment. (don't need MAX , don't need red life meter) Easy way to do this : As you know (or not) you can do the Iori type super move like this : down then HCF+C (works with other characters) So do the folowing : down, Neutral, C+D, HCF+C then many others HCF+C. So you will do the 5 or 6 hits C+D ! Try with other characters ! From: Lionel Example : Leona jumping C+D can hit 3 times !!! ----Goro 's ground Grab : Goro can catch opponent on the ground with HCF+C . Example : crouching D, go forward then hcf+C : 2 hits ! ----Run backward : Yes you can run back. It means that you you are facing your opponent, running, but backwards. Like the Mickael Jackson Moon Walk (but it is a Moon Run ^^) Do a run (forward twice) then immediately go up-back, then immediately go forward (or down-forward). Seems hard to do, just catch the timing. ----Bug VS Mr Big : This one is from Shinichi Nakada and it's confirmed by the video. Goro do the special throw (hcb-f+C) against Big and can juggle him with a jumping CD (or hcf+A). Cool looking ! Other characters can do this against Big. Example : Joe can juggle with two Screw Upper ! ----Choi's "Maximum Spider" : Here's the 100% combo against a tall character. Pretty hard ! Choi's in the right corner, opponent is near him. Little jump to the left then C (two hits), jump to the right immediately C (1 hit) cancel with hishokyak (qcf+k). Immediately vertical jump+C (1hit) cancel with hishokyak. Crouching C cancel with diagonal rebound (down charged then up+B). Then two crouching A cancel with tornado (down charged then up+C) : MARVELLOUS ! ----Athena Super Saiya Jin (Dragonball) : She must be hit at the start of her Super, but as soon as she being hit, she must do the Super one more time to make the balls appear ! Now she can move with the two blue balls protecting her ! She can do a lot of Super move and the blue balls will stay and hit her opponent ! ----Kyo's "infinite" : A strange bug in fact. Kyo VS King or Kyo. Kyo counter the C+D of King (or stand D of Kyo) with his qcb+P. He will be hit on guard but his crushing move will not connect. So you can repeat this thing again and again. The hit counter will increase each time you do this and WON'T DISAPEAR ! The hit counter stays until you hit King with any move. Infinite combo ! ----Freeze the opponent : Make Chang running toward a wall and keep him running. Take Kim and jump on Chang with a cross-up jump. Do the air Super move at the last time. Normally Kim will do his Super on the wall and Chang will be behind him, frozen ! If you wait for a Time Over, the game will not continue and stay frozen too ! -It's also works with Yuri's Super move against any character keeping running on a wall. ----Chang's Airwolf throw : I don't know how to do this one (didn't try yet) , i can just descibe. Clark in the corner, gauge on Maximum. Chang does the "thousand iron ball" (P rapidly) and hit Clark on Guard. Clark do a Guard Cancel forward roll. As soon as he get up, Chang do the Special throw. During the animation of the throw, the iron ball keep turning over his head ! ----Athena in the twillight zone : Just do the Super move of Goro when Atena starts her Super. Looks very strange. ----Kasumi cool juggle : A usefull one ! Opponent in the corner doing a normal move. Kasumi counters him with HCT+D, just after she kicked the opponent she can juggle him with another move. ----Clark 2 hit light kick : (provided by Omega Mad) Clark standing near light kick can cancel into 2 hit by press BCD. eg. near press B ,then press BCD = 2hit light kick . ----Mature's Multi-hit standing light kick : (provided by Moonrun) First, do standing B, then do her special(there will be a 3-hit light Kick),then immediately press B, then do her special again,(now,there will be 6-hits shown on the Rush counter). Repeat the steps and you will be able to get up to 15-hits in the corner with big characters. ----Chizuru Kagura's 100% damage unblockable move : (provided by James Hsui) 1. Your life must be flashing and you must be charged to maximum. 2. Do her QCB X 2 D move about half to one person's spacing from enemy. 3. Immediately run towards him and while holding down, keep pressing C. 4. If the enemy gets to far away, run towards him and continue doing it. Making it unblockable: When QCB X 2 D hits the enemy, if he is blocking while crouching, do a jumping B and if he is standing, do a crouching B. Then quickly move in and do the crouching Cs. ----Athena 's glitch : (provided by James Hsui) This is a cool glitch that can be used to cheat for Athena 1. Make the enemy have less life than you do 2. Quickly do a Shining Cystal Bit. 3. As soon as the balls disappear, do a Psyco Teleport 4.
