I really do not need any E-Mail(s) asking: "What is good or bad" since I will fully talk about everything about her (including combination attacks). Hope it will somehow be useful to you and lead your play or skills to a higher level. ------------- Why Rosa? ------------- Hayate is no more the hero of this game. The heroism goes for Rosa and Kim Young-Mok. Rosa is the heroine and Kim is the hero. Rosa by far is the coolest in the game and the best female fighter in all fighting games. Her personality rocks and she is so cool. Not to mention the appearance, haircut, cool belt (uses it too as a weapon) and the awesome sword. She also has a very sexy voice, great moves and a must see quotes. On top of that, she is so fun to use. --------------- Stage: --------------- Does not have any, but the Water Way suits her very well. When you lose your weapon, Rosa will use her sweet belt as a weapon (boy she looks sexy when she uses it). Weltics Rosa and Bee Needle are the ones that she will be able to perform. ---------------- Strategy: ---------------- Hands down, Rosa is the best yet... the toughest in the game. She has some invincible moves and some of them have no lag at all. Anyway, on with it. Her distance, standing and crouching As have a good speed and always make good use of them when you want to play fast and connect them to other attacks like crouching B or forward A. The same thing goes for her standing and crouching Bs. But her distance B is very good and make good use of it, because it comes out so fast and it has a very good range. You can always confuse your opponent with it and when he or she makes a move, do after it her Meteooru Angrurifu. Her forward A is fast too, but since the game depends on combos and such then you better always do something after it, like Meteooru Angrurifu or Bee Needle. Her down/forward A is good sometimes as an anti-air. But remember there are some normal attacks that can break yours and you have some other good options than this. But you can use it sometimes against Joker and Gordon. Her standing C and crouching C are painful and damaging. If you are in for good combos, use them. Also, they have some invinciblity... so make good use of them. Remember that it is better to do crouching C, down/forward C then Meteooru Angrurifu than crouching B, down/forward C then Meteooru Angrurifu. Her distance C is so good, because if it hits the opponent, it will make him or her recovers from the hit kind of slowly. You can even do distance B then Meteooru Angrurifu after it. See? You should know by now that her down/forward C and forward C are for combos as well, even if the opponent defends, keep doing Meteooru Angrurifu, because Rosa recovers so fast after it and there is no way the opponent can do anything other than guard cancel and such. Forward B and down/forward B have some lag, but of course you will connect anything after you use them right? So no worrys. That is why many characters are strong, they have some bad Normal Attacks, yet they can connect many things after them which can save their @$$e$. The same thing goes for her BC, it comes out slow, but use it when the opponent is a turtle... confuse him or her with your different ways of attacking then BC when he or she gaurds low. Her air attacks are all useful and you will surely use them all no matter what. The A and B are so fast and you can combo them while you are in the air. Her C is always good against air attacks and for combos. It is good for a start... if you are so confused and you want just to focus and make your play focused on painful combination attacks, then C is a very good choice for you. As for her Special Moves, Weltics Rosa can be blocked in the air... watch it... either use it when you want to do a combo, or when you see the opponent hits, fast do it. And do not forget to add on the other hit to make it more painful. But if the opponent defended it, you are history, because you will be wide open and the combos are very painful in this game and you really do not want to make them kick you out since you have this very good character. Surprise Task can be used when you do a sure combo like jump C then Surprise Task... and then add the other attack if needed. Notice that when you do it for no good purpose, and the opponent defended it, you will also be wide open. So do it as I said. Either with a combo or when the opponent makes a mistake like throwing a fireball. Bee Needle is one of the invincible moves and it has no lag at all. You can do it all you like. You do not have to worry about anything, because her power comes with this and Meteooru Angurifu. Use it with combos, and when the opponent jumps from far away, use it. Gordon can do nothing, because of this move... so most of the players will depend on their guard cancel. This case does not change whether she is armed or unarmed. The other great, powerful and most useful move is Meteooru Angurifu, it is painful, does not have lag, very fast recovery and damaging, because you can add a throw after it or an attack. But I advice you to always continue with the throw after it. It becomes very handy against low jumps too. But let me tell you one thing, for sure her Bee Needle has more invinciblity than Meteooru Angurifu, you might ask why? Well, smiply put... because Meteooru Angurifu is very damaging and Bee Needle is less damaging while very useful. Roses Sanction does not come out fast... there is some lag when she performs it... but after she performs it, she will recover fast. The move can be used whe you expect the opponent to jump low or when you want to corner the opponent. It does not have a good range, also you have better moves than this, but you could do scary things after Roses Sanction. The combination attacks I mean, hero. Her Air Kick is fast and could be used sometimes, but it is noticeable. In case to do it, you have to be near the wall. Even a retarded player will notice it. I am not saying you cannot use it, you can actually but only when you want to play fast and make your play unreadable. The trick with her Crescent Slicer is to attack after it, which means... it is not a very fast wave attack, but it is useful. It makes you move after you do it... now how? Do it then move... when the opponent jumps, then deal with him or her with your best attack. React fast... but that does not mean it comes out so fast, because it does not. Do it from a distance and then you will have no troubles. Every move has its goodness and badness... good and weak points. Always keep that on mind. Her Super move Shori No Akatsuki is cool to see and damaging, but it is not for combinations... she runs so slow and could be noticed easily. I always do it when the opponent jumps, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. I got nothing to lose since most of the times it does. It depends on what the opponent would do. Her throw Knockdown Toss is not that useful, because you will forget using it by the time you realize that it is not needed. But always kick King Lion's @$$ with it. I mean the CPU... because he really gets so mad when you use it on him. What a moron! Rosa is better when she plays first... do not be cheap and let her in the background all day... she will save your butt many times. The best partner for her is Kim. Well, I use them both. Always keep on attacking and never defend for long, you do not have to. You have what it takes to own every match and Rosa have an advantage over many characters. So, since you have the upper hand you should always keep your girl solid and strong until the very end. Use the AB and forward AB whenever you can... they will help you a lot. And do not forget that you can defend while you are in the air. So, that is a good thing for sure. ---------------- Combos: ---------------- I will only write the names of the moves (not the commands), I have always been so... so if anybody is not good with it, you can see the command list above and then check here again. I will list every good, bad, short, long, easy and hard combos. I really will not bother to look for sites to put any of their combos in here. I like to see my work completely original, but you might know all the combos...
